Julia finds out that Will is the witness to Paulie’s case. She had a dinner party with Bruno, Martha and Martha’s new beau, Ronan, who is ten years younger.

Joyce comes home to find her apartment ransacked. Some papers on the floor indicate what it might be in relation to. She leaves for Manchester immediately to stay with her mum.

Bruno gives an outstanding presentation that impresses Julia as well as other bosses at La Belle.

Joyce goes for her 20-week scan and has mixed feelings about being a single mother. Meanwhile, Julia is persuaded to contact her.

Marc Stuart (Paulie’s former boss at Skyline Financials) reveals himself and tries to track down Paulie, the witness and the so-called evidence that he believes may be used to blackmail him later. He has plans that everyone needs to be very worried about…

Julia gets a surprise call from a former business partner (Michael Canton). She spots Will (Sandra’s husband) with Paulie and wonders what the connection is.

A work meeting with Bruno turns into romance for Julia.

Joyce finds out about Paulie’s secret chats with Julia where he writes that he’d rather be with Julia. Joyce makes Paulie leave after she wins the case. She vows to raise her baby on her own.
