Day three: Why Am I Counting the Days?

I’m on holiday in Ireland just now and I have to say my brain has kinda slowed down….in a good way, mostly. I don’t have my work mobile and I didn’t leave any pending projects which could make me hypertensive while I’m away. So I’m asking myself why I’m counting the days on my recent blog posts??! What’s with day one, day two etc. ? Don’t worry I’m not asking You, the Reader. I’m asking Me, the Writer.

Maybe I wanted to see how long I’d go before I stopped writing daily. Well, if it’s that then I’ll fail because I can’t write every day. Why? Well, I’m not on holiday everyday. Duh. I’m not competing this blog thing with anyone. I already did that in 2008.

To be honest, I think misunderstood the Blogging 201 instructions. If anyone actually understands how I get my junk started for real, please write in the comments.

So as a heads up, my next post will probably not be tomorrow but it won’t be long after. Also, I won’t be counting the days. That’s just stupid.

HOLIDAY: Chicago, Florida, here I come

My last awaited holiday is finally here. I’m off to Chicago this week and I’m really excited! I’ve spent most of this weekend doing my hair, nails etc. It’s vital to look good on holiday, right?

We’ll probably do a couple of days of Disney (for the boys, adrenaline is not really my thing *control issues*) and shopping (yay!). I have my little list and I plan to stick to it …eek!

We’ve been to Chicago for a wedding once before but not as tourists so if anyone has any recommendations for sight seeing and shopping, please drop a comment – thanks! I would like to take shots of the architecture and perhaps try street photography if I can get complete strangers on the streets to let me take their photo (wish me luck)… Tips valuable here too.

The thought of taking my eyes of the ball and relaxing for a few days is relaxing in itself.

Expect a couple of great shots as I’ll be sure to put my best attempts here.

Fun holiday moments: In Pictures

I’m on holiday in Majorca and it’s excellent! We are at Cala Pi Club in the South. They really go out of their way for entertainment – both for kids and adults. Here are few shots that made me smile.

What did you get up to this Easter?

Weekly Photo Challenge: Journey

I’m on the road at the moment, on my way to Edinburgh to catch a flight to Majorca in the morning. So this week’s photo challenge is real and personal.

It’s raining and it’s difficult to believe only last week we had the hottest temperatures in March! My kids seem fine – car DVD players work wonders.

We’ve had to make a pitstop at Tesco’s.

And Burger King.

So it’s been quite a journey so far. Sorry about my less than sharp photos. All I have is an iPhone and a storyline.

Happy Easter!
