My Photography Challenge: Self-taken Self-portraits

“As long as you can find yourself, you’ll never starve.”
―     Suzanne Collins,     The Hunger Games

I’ve heard people say how difficult it is to take a picture of yourself – not with a timer but by literally turning the camera on yourself. It’s sort of my way of seeing myself through my own eyes… and I do this a lot.  Here’s my best attempt:

The trick is to look as if you didn’t take it!

Now it’s your turn. Share your best attempt of a self-taken self-portrait in a post and link it in the comments. I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

  5. I find it super easy to do. I’m actually known for it. I have no shame in turning my camera on myself in front of lots of people who could just take the photo for me. Lol.
Good job here. Can’t tell you took it. 🙂

      • Hmmm… No genius tips, really. Just keep doing it, and be confident. No shame in this game!
One thing I do is take a pic, look at it, and take the 10 seconds to look at it and figure out which way I need to move the phone/camera to get it centred (or whatever) the way I want, then do it.
