Weekly Photo Challenge: Escape

Taken at Haughton Park, Alford

Taken at Haughton Park, Alford

To escape,

I often take a walk

without my cape

My Nikon camera round my neck

Relaxed and waiting for that unique shot

All worries

for those moments

are cut short

Escaping from the league of super mummies

I don’t need to be a hero to get the shot

Now that I’m on my way to Haughton Park.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Culture

I took this picture at the Tower of London while visiting over the Easter holidays. London is rich in history and culture. I recommend a visit to the Tower of London to anyone interested in England‘s history and perhaps a glimpse into the lives of monarchs of old.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Color

(I’m playing catch up on past photo challenges)

I love color and I’m growing to love photography more and more. Enjoy my colorful interpretations!

There’s a very old looking telephone booth where I live. The vibrant red really jumps out at me.

On a walk last Saturday, I took an interest to colorful pieces of litter.

Perhaps one company used this lovely green color to compensate for its "killer" package (Selective color mode)

Being an avid knitter, I wondered why this gorgeous soft pink wool was out on the street and not on a jumper or scarf.

I could think of many patterns for this wool...sad that it ended up in a pile of dirt.
